simple, yet good question

Alright this is the deal. I shaved my "maxima" sign off the trunk of my car. And it does look a lot better. But I want to do something with it, so I was thinking about glueing it to the flat part underneath the passenger side airbag. But I'm a little worried on what kind of glue would be good for the panel. I'm afraid any normal glue might fade it or ruin the surface somehow. Plus I want to be able to easily take it off. Any ideas?

You have got to love Duct Tape. I used it once on my Delta 88(Got bless her sole) to hold the back bumber on after the rusted parts holding it up gave way.

I miss my 1987 Olds 98 Brougham. Dam thing would float over bumps.

I had red duct tape over the rear lights to match the other side red reflectors.

Dam thing was pretty quick.

I do not put anything on my dash. Sunlight will probably fade it and while you clean around it, you may have a permanent mark.

but then when you take it off, you'll have a nice bold MAXIMA looking back at you over the faded vinyl...it would look great... j/k

Yeah thats what I was worried about. I'll probably try to find a different place to put it, but I'll mostly just say F**K it and put it there anyway.

what color of dash do you have? That will matter in the fading process, and if you don't live in an always sunny place, it wont' fade that much. Look at it after a few months, if it fades a little take it off, if not, your car will look good.

BTW i did it to my dash and i love it.

I have a tan dash, so I know it wouldn't fade as much as say a black one. But I live in northern CT so the sun's strenght wouldn't be that much of a problem. You say you did it? Did yours fade?
