universal shift boot-help?

okay max bros,
i searched for the previous posts on shift boots but they are all on the momo ones. i bought some random *** shift boot today and need some tips on putting it in. i bought because the leather is really nice, so much better than the stock crap. anyway i couldnt find any momo ones at my local rice shop. anyone have tips. oh'yeah, the leather is too thick to put the stock rectangular wire in. damn. this is starting to suck ***. help guys.

wait till i get the custom boots made. Im still waiting on one guy to send me the parking brake boot and ill send both shight boot and parking brake boot outtogether. Price should be around $25 and the quality of them is really nice. Later

Hmm..that does suck....If you were desperate you could super glue it. But that's not really the best alternative.
