I have a 1998 Maxima GLE with the Bose Sound System. I want to get a new head unit with a flip down screen that will support all 6 bose speakers + 2 12" Subs. Please post brand, model and approx. cost. Thanks for your help.

Theres an audo Forum here that you should post this in, but Any aftermarket HU will work with the Bose as long as you have the Line level Converters to do so. No HU will just plug up directly to the Bose system. You'll need two odf them, (one for the front cnanels and one for the rear) and they are around $50 each. There are many good brands and models of HU's and it really depends on the features you want. Clarion makes some great models that are around the $250 to $350 range. I would stay way from Sony, JVC, Pioneer, or Kenwood, but there are many out there who like those brands.
