Ok, well some of you may have read the other two threads reguarding the Samsung taillights posted by 02SR250. If you haven't, then here are the links to them:

Well, I've been very interested in getting these taillights for my car. I've been talking to 02SR250 on AIM to see if they will fit. He contacted the Samsung Motor Company, but they didn't give him a clear answer.

So, we got to talking and he said that if he had a set of OEM Maxima taillights to compare the Samsung lights with, he could give us a definate answer.

Maybe we could start up a fund where people could donate for someone to mail a set of lights over to 02SR250 and he could compare them and let us know if they are the same. What do you guys think?

why not try to do basic measurements of both lights first, to see if it would even be worth it?...and then if not, i'm sure someone can find a cracked pair or taillights sitting around somewhere

I have an extra cracked left one if it comes down to it.

 

Is that both pieces, or just the outside? We'd need both pieces.

I only cracked the left outer piece trying to clear it. Want me to crack the inner one too ?

I have a perfect set of outer lens. It's my spare set.

 

OK, I sent the measurements to 02SR250 and he's going to measure the Samsung taillights. If they're close, we'll try to get a set to him and he can compare and see if they'll fit.
