cleaning out the engine
i have uber amounts of dust and crap all over my engine, and around it pic1, pic2 .....i was wondering what i could use to clean all the **** out, and any specific products/methods i use to do it...also, what else do you's think that needs cleaning? ...kthx...also, if u need better pictures lemme know

1. Spray lots of Simple Green (http://www.simplegreen.com/ )everywhere.
2. Use a brush to loosen up heavy soiled area.
3. Spray water everywhere with a garden hose.
4. Wipe off excess water with a towel.
5. Start the car and let it idle for 15 mins with the hood open.
Repeat as needed. Then it will look like this.

FYI, I clean my engine bay once every 3 weeks.
