I don't know if this is crazy or not, but I'm curious as to if you can add side air bags to the 4th G Maximas. I get a pretty good insurance break if I have these, and I like living and such, so I'm curious if I can add these into my existing seats? If not, can I buy someone else's 99 Max seats that have the air bags, and then plug them in? Would I have to rewire anything?

It's crazy

 

You would need;

1) New airbag computer, the one that reads all 4 airbags. Your present one is only concerend w/driver ad passsener airbag. ~$200-$300
2) 2 front seats with SRS in them. ~$300-$400 used
3) Harness. the new airbag computer needs an extra harness to connect to the seat airbags. ~50-60 used.
