Has anyone ever gotten a ticket for having 20% tint? or darker than that? What about anyone failing inspection for NJ bc of tints? I am getting 20% on thursday, I was very curious about these 2 things. I also heard that I can possibly go to a local gas station, that is certified, and maybe they can hook it up? Any input is much appreciated...

 

Well, check your local vehicle codes. That will tell you what is legal and what isn't.

Some places, 20% is legal. So you don't want those people telling you to go for it if that's not the law where you live.

Do your own legwork.

 

you can go as dark as you want as long as you DO NOT tint the drivers and passanger windows.
