I am looking to upgrade from my Intrax springs to a coilover suspension. I have just recently installed Koni adjustable shocks, but the more I look at my car that damn wheel gap is still so annoying. I do race autoX quite often and the roads which I frequently drive on are not exactly smooth.

If you lower your car more then the piston on the shock becomes more compressed and pushes into the shock. IS THIS NOT BAD??? hitting a pot hole and ruining your $500 dollar Koni's?
