One touch sunroof control?

I found this on on another board here..

http://www.autoloc.com/detail.lasso?itemid=WC1000

Has anyone installed this as a sunroof "one touch"? Where would you put it? There's not enough room in the headliner is there?

Any help would be great!

There's a write up about this in the FAQ's...however, when I went to install it on my car, it didn't work. I even called AutoLoc and they were of little help. Maybe I'll take some time soon to screw around with it some more, but until then or when someone writes up how they did it, it will spend it's days in my garage.
BTW, I was going to take the circuit board out of the plastic box that it comes in and wrap it in some bubble wrap so that it would fit in between the ceiling liner and the metal shell of the car. It's a tight fit, but it does work.

I installed it. It's a pain. You have to reverse the polarity of the sunroof because our cars use a neg trigger and the unit uses a positive. There's plenty on room on the pass side for the unit. I'm going to do a right up when I have time to take pics. If you do a search you'll see it's been discussed many times.

you know, for 40 bucks it might be worth putting it in, it's just a small minor thing but it would be soooo nice to have, for the most part I have never had the sunroof in the in between open/close, so I would love to have the one touch roof to go open and close

maximus75, write that writeup, we all need it
