Turbo Too Much?
Turbo Too Much?
I have around 122k miles on the Maxima and I love turbos! My roommate has a GMC Typhoon and I know what turbos are capable of. Do I have too many miles to get the turbo kit. Should I wait to blow the engine and than go. DAMN! Maxima engines last forever too. Let me know if 'yall think its worth it. Thanks.
Turbos are good...
...yes, Maxima engines are virtually indestructable, even with abuse, they'll go to around 300k miles.
Wait until some internal engine part blows, then start building your motor's internals up. Or if you got $$$ to spend now, do it now.

Buy/order a VQ30DET from www.nippon-motors.com. After that spend $2k to have it installed properly.
