help on cold air intake?

I might buy a placeracing cold air intake. I have a 95 max se with foglights. If i install could i keep on the foglights and the filter will still get air? And is it easy for me to install it i don't know much about that stuff. And i live in minnesota would the snow and water effect it. Would water and snow mess it up the filter? Or my intake? Do i need to drill a hole too? Please help

I would recommend you go to WarpspeedPerformance.com or MaximaDriver.com and look up instructions on how to install the CAI. Yes, you will have to drill a hole in the driver side fender. The filter will reside inside the fender between the metal and the fender liner which is plastic. Water and snow should not be a problem. The filter is pretty high up in the fender. You should be able to leave your fog lights in as well - you're not ramming air into the filter so the fogs won't pose a problem. You may want to do a search. There has been a lot of debate about the power gains of the CAI vs the HAI or POP chargers. This debate is ongoing but has gotten more attention recently because a lot of people are dynoing their cars and testing "hypothesis". Good luck. YOu'll love the sound of the CAI. I personally have a Stillen POP. I gotta shorten up my posts.
