Measuring Speed after 140...
...while on the highway or running on the street, isn't there some sort of LCD display/sensor module that you can buy to find out how fast you're really going?
If you have this, let me know where you bought it, and for how much, do you like it, does it work well, etc.
TIA.

I'd often wondered about this when I've crept the needle beyond 140 and wonder just how fast I'm going, or if I ever want to know my top speed.

Buy a handheld GPS. You can get the cheapest ones at around $100 from sporting good stores and places like Wal-mart. You can probably find other (hopefully safer!) uses for one as well. My Garmin 12 even records the maximum speed reached.
