oh man :(

i was showin a friend today my intake and stuff....frickin, 2 of the nuts and washers were not on ....they musta came off from all the wear and tear....im hoping this was my problem with bad fuel mileage...also what could be any side effects from this? ...when i accelerated, the filter popped back, and exposed the MAF to everything (well about 1/4 of the maf)

wow, you must have done a very bad job installing it

I've had my intake on for over two years and I still have all my original bolts in place

As long as the screws didn't fall in you should be OK. Pull the intake off and look in at the MAF and if you can, look at the TB too. See if there is any **** in there like leaves or dirt. Clean it out to be spotless.

It wouldn't hurt to change your oil and oil filter.

But I'm paranoid. You can just check if there is anything inside and put it back together.
