took me 3 DAYS but i finally did it!!!

yup, i cleaned my throttle body! i hope i beat the record of having taken the longest to do it..lol, nah it really only took me 30 minutes to do because the other two days i started and didn't have the right tools and today would have been shorter but i got some instructions from some site (motiva.ca) or something like that and they weren't complete...i guess guy that did it had a pop charger or something cause there were like 4 or 5 extra stuff i had to unscrew or pull off just to get that whole piece off...anyway, i cleaned it and don't see much difference...haven't driven it yet but car sounds just about same when i started....bout to take it for a drive later today when i go to recharge my battery....i also let go of my chrome rims i'm back to stock, sold them and waiting on some 2k rims that should be coming in later this week or next week....

i'm slowly getting better guys...aren't ya proud of me?

Dude I cleaned mine this weekend too, and a whole bunch of black stuff came out. I scrubbed it with a tooth brush, and that took care of it. I did notice that it when I hit the gas, the engine accelerated much smoother.

I'm proud your learning to work on your car, but damn, cleaning a throttle body should not be that dramatic. Trim yours post sizes bro. Theres not a minimum post size requirement. A few sentences will do.

lol, you're like the 10th person on this org to say that since i've been here....these guys are all a$$holes, always picking on the guy that has problems installing things...but they've helped me too much, I LOVE YOU TOO GUYS!!!!

oh and i'm not doing conversion alone, otherwise it would have taken me approximately 3...perhaps 4 lifetimes....

Cleaned my TB at the weekend. Just needed a 10mm wrench, pliers, TB cleaner, and a white rag. I did mine because the car was vibrating too much at idle. It fixed that, and maybe throttle repsonse was a tiny bit better. Couldn't say for sure though..
