Oh well I guess some people will always be Maxima obsessed. Not that there is anything wrong with it!
The poster who wrote about his Camry is correct. While the Camry is not quite the handler that a Maxima SE is, if you compare a GXE/GLE vs. Camry the differences are much less. In fact, in the Edmunds Live event, I thought the Camry handled better than the Maxima GLE! Although I drove the Maxima through the track the fastest...Edmunds dude said "hey that guy is pretty good" and my brother said "yeah he already has a Maxima" spoiling any glory I might have had.
Anyways, you can mod a Camry to outperform a Maxima. You can mod a Maxima to outperform a Camry. I would say that neither car is better than the other. Both are great family sedans.
