air temp sensor

air temp sensor

i'm new... so don't ream me please... but my question is what can be done with the air temp sensor after a pop charger has been installed... i left my factory air intake, so i left it in the stock location... but it looks fugly with the filter... any suggestions?

Pretty good for your first question Most people leave the sensor in the stock position. If/when you decide to make your popcharger a hybrid there is a hole for the air temp sensor in the piping.

thanks for the reply... didn't think of that... i almost did a hybrid a couple of weeks ago... but i when i was at home depot i never thought if the vent hoses were long enough... needless to say the hybrid hose is laying around somewhere... one ? though... will the temp sensor stay in the rubber hose, or do you have to rig something to make it fit?

My hybrid consists of a JWT Popcharger and the PR Upper tube so I can't help you there. DIY is great, but I went with the tube for my intake.

anyone that has done the Home Depot hybrid have any answers about the air temp sens. and how / if it can be mounted?

i just left in the stock air scoop, and its still in there
