Gaining more power above 60mph, not sure how...

Hey i'm still new at learning engines. I've learned a great deal from the org, about 0-60 times... and how to increase them. But what about highway passing power.

What would guys recommend be added to a 4th gen manual that would increase the passing power(hp/tq),etc... at higher speeds?

Oh, i wasn't sure how to search for this topic. If it does exist in any ways shape or form, please give me a hand and lemme know what to search for

Thanks.

POP style intake and exhaust mods, especially the Y pipe.

downshifting will help - but you gotta revmatch to do it right...

when you are going 60mph in 5th gear just push the clutch - then blip the gas at the same time you put the shifter into 3rd gear - then let the clutch out and floor it....

Y-pipe and CAI are the best combo (for the $), unless you get the money to get an S/C or are planning a custom turbo in the futute, which in that case, you'll either have to get a POP style intake or a custom CAI

people are saying POP charger is better for high end power.. not sure if the difference from the CAI is that much though

I like CAI, Y better, cause Y gives you the top end and CAI gives you the low end and nice growl without robbing the low end like hte JWT
