Hey guys -

I just installed a Stillen RSB a few weeks ago. I know that people have experienced a "popping" noise with RSB's, but I thought it was just the Addco version.

Anyways, I was turning into a driveway and I heard a loud BOING type noise.

Got under the car and everything looks ok, and it drove fine today.

Would this be the RSB noise?

Can't say I ever heard a popping sound from my rsb, and the boing noise doesn't sound normal either. I'm not sure how the stillen rsb looks, but if it comes with rubber bushings, I'm pretty sure the sound you're hearing is the bushings popping or boinging, as you called it, of the actual bar twisting and turning inside of the bushing. That's my thought on that.

The Stillen Bar will do this especially when

you're backing out of of driveway or going over some speed bumps when the car is cold and when it's cold outside.
It is simply the structure leaning on itself.
The bar imposes stress upon the frame and the noise you hear is most likely the frame creaking and squeaking from the sway bar. No harm. No Foul.

That's what I thought. It's been cold here ( 10-20 ) and I kinda figured that had something to do with it.

Oh, and the Stillen bar does not have bushings, it clamps directly to the frame.
