service engine light

a while back i had my alternator replaced and the service engine light was on. the tech said the code was for a speed indicator or speed meter(it wasn't speedometer) he said it was nothing to worry about and he reset my computer, but the next day the light came back on. what the hell was he talking about?! (by the way it wasn't blinking it was staying on)

Since you dont remember what he said exactly, take the whole 2 minutes it takes to pull the codes and decode them to know for sure. Then search about your problem, then if you don't turn up anything post again.

Since your to lazy double check the codes, why should anyone waste the time to try and figure out what you are talking about. Do some of the legwork yourself, and if you run into problems people will be glad to help.
