I was wondering if anybody could answer if it is better to get our stock intake manifold ported and polished or is it better to just buy that MI variable intake manifold

 

The VI will give you more power.

No matter how smooth the stock manifold gets, it's runners are still too long for good high RPM power.

 

from what I read on the .org, our manifolds are pretty much polished well, so it will give you little or no gain, while hte ME VI, will give you 30hp+ on 5.5k+ and 10hp increase over the powerband, ME VI all the way
