anyone with pics of installed ebay upper intake?...

does anyone have pics of an installed upper intake from dohccivic from ebay? i'm thinking of getting one from him for $55 shipped. maybe i'm just being slow but does that get rid of the accordian section too? i've seen pictures of some people who made their own upper intake and it still had the accordian part, and others who bought and didn't have it. also, was it easy to do or did you run into any problems? do you need to buy anything in addition to what they send? any help would be appreciated...thanx

dohccivic sells two different kits. one has the blue hose(like your picture shows). The other is just the filter. The blue hose kit eliminates the accordian part. I believe he sells that kit for $99. The $59 kit is just the filter and adapter....accordian part stays. I can email you a pic of mine with the accordian part.

I just did the $50 kit(without the blue stuff) and it took me 15 minutes to put in....really easy. And it sounds nice!!!

Piece of cake to put in, and only loud at WOT. You'll love the growl. Other than that, it's quiet as stock.
