Hi,

I have looked at the I-30 mods for the automatic shifter. Is it possible to use one from a 5th gen maxima on a 4th? Also is it hard to find the piece to replace the panel which has Park, Drive, etc since my is all scratched up. Is it hard to get to that? Thanks

 

people don't like to respond to auto shifter posts for some reason. i've posted two and only one person (vyrus-the man) responded. your best bet is to look at how yours comes off and is held on and look in someone's max to see if they're interchangable. i'm also wondering that myself about changing that piece...junkyards are the first place i'd look for that. goodluck

 

It would be really cool to add the gated shifter from a 5th gen. Is this even remotely possible?
