a rookie question
a rookie question
what is NGK plugs, where to get them
i cleaned five spark plugs yesterday, can not do the last one at right back, there is no enough space to put everything out of the hole. it seems that i have to move the EVAP, what a bad design.

That sixth sparkplug with all of that hardware over the coil was the toughest. That big thingie above it is bolted down by two nuts. If you take off the nuts and bend the thingie over that will allow you access to the screws that hold down the coil. Also remove that throttle cable holder next to it to get more access space.
Be careful how you pull out the coils. In my previous posting:
"The worst part was the last plug by the throttle body. I thought I could slip out the coil without moving it and the FSTB but when I tilted the coil the rubber boot came off. Sticking the coil back in did not reseat the boot and so I moved the part that sat above the coil and the loop that the throttle cables pass through, cut up a coat hanger and make a loop at one end so that it is the same diameter as the coil tip bump. After a few tries and body contortions I got it out."

Pull the coil pack again and the boot will be attached to the end again!
