I work with a loud mouth friend who has a 2001 Camaro SS he thinks is so tough. I know my Maxima SE may not take him off the line...but I bet I can get him on top end. I have no mods. I just want to shut this guy up!

 

umm nope....smack on some mods (supercharger preferabbly) and you should have em

a v6 camaro is a tough but easy enuff kill (so ive heard), but the SS and z28...forget about it !

 

yeah dont even think about beating an SS without a supercharger.. Even if you are S/C'd it wont be an easy race. Those things run like 13.8 stock i think.

 

No chance about the top end part of the race either. My friend has a '98 chipped SS and it pulls hard at 140, the fastest I've been with him is 150 just to try to keep up with a modded '96 Impala SS. His is auto by the way too, I seriously doubt that even with a supercharger you would be able to take him, that is if he has any modifications like a chip done. Just my 2 cents.
