hahaha oh my god, my dam car got stolen today!! on some crazy [I have a small mind and had to use a bad word here] , need to vent....good news comes at the end but man, i'm still scared....these [I have a small mind and had to use a bad word here] that have no life what so ever.....

now, i go to work and they only allow employees to park in back parking lot and I always work mornings on saturdays but this week, i guess cause i took off on sunday for NE meet, they changed my schedule so i started work at 3...anyway, the first lot i always park in was full because i came in later in the day. So now i'm forced to park WAY in the back due to the fact that the managers are gay and won't let me park in front cause that's where customers park.

So i start work at 3. I'm working chilling, having a good day at work, first in a few weeks and i hear this heavy sound like my car (now that i have CAI and y-pipe) and I'm like "dam that's a nice car out there i would like to race" and I finally finish work at 11 and when i go out to my car to start the night up (SATURDAY NIGHT!!!) I press alarm button, i see no lights flashing, no sounds, just a [I have a small mind and had to use a bad word here] galant in the area where my car was....

HOLY [I have a small mind and had to use a bad word here] if u guys saw my face when i saw this, you would have either laughed or gave me 20 dollars each...so much sorrow, agony, pain, and confusion at once...i thought someone was playing a trick i mean i had my stereo and all for months and no one has ever touched my car...plus i work in springfield, NJ aka sort of white boy town, not supposed to be heavy violence...well anyway, i call police ASAP and tell my best friend to come pick me up....

after filing for stolen car, about 2 minutes later the same cops come back to staples and tells me that my car's license plate were ran twice tonight around 7 and if i had reported my car stolen earlier they could have picked up my car right there...but unlucky me....

so me and my friend are on a pursuit to find these bastards and we obviously couldn't catch them (my max wit mods vs. 94 corolla) so if we saw them we would tell cops where they were....so its around 12:30 and we decide to call cops to give them our cell number so if they find car before us they can contact us....wouldn't u figure that when i called cops they already found my car....in the MIDDLE OF NEWARK aka [I have a small mind and had to use a bad word here] VILLE......i have to wait till tomorrow for them to tell me the condition of the car and monday to pick it up from junkyard or what not...

I know right off the back my stereo should be gone and probably my diamond cut bumpers...luckily i already took off my chrome and doubt they'll want my 2k rims but any thing is possible...i'm happy that i got my car back though...i hope they didn't crash it but they only had it for a day so my friend told me there's a good chance they took nothing off and just stole it for the joy ride and fun...i hope so....i have conversion right around the corner, parts paid for already and this was to happen?! dam!! but car is back, i'll update u guys on the condition of my baby...i don't know how they broke into my car but my next mod if a full security system with pager and all

I'm sorry to hear about your car, but do everyone a favor and edit this post. Heavily. You know exactly what I'm talking about. People may say things in the heat of the moment but it's no excuse.

TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT, I AM BLACK and proud but i know the crowd taht took my car especially when it happens to land in the heart of newark or the ghetto of newark....we all know what those people are called, not all but the type to start trouble and steal cars....I should edit but i think my point is valid. I'm speaking the truth here...I was happy though...cop said my car should come in within 2 or 3 days but not 2 hours

also there is an autoland next door to me which two employees got their car stolen along with some other store near the area..these guys are on the rampage and the cops are having trouble keeping up.....

Hey mecca Im so sorry about the whip. I understand unlike everyone else about black people and *******. Im black my self and I hate when ingnorant black people have nothing else better to do then mess with other peoples ****.

If your car was found in newark, they probably stripped the ***ch. That is ghetto heaven and neward is infamous for getting what they want out of a car when the want it. wow ijust posted about a month or 2 ago about my car gettin stolen and i heard them take it cuz it sounded jus like my car. im in hillside right next to you. they found my car in irvington and they took my subs and my coilovers from my trunk. they smashed my front and side window and my 2 front tires were flat. out of the whole thing tho i made out with a brand new paint job and some xtras. have fun on monday going to chancelor ave to pick it up=) o ya they didnt take my clear corners or my front lip i had in the back seat. i hoped they totaled my car but they didnt so bah=( i bet it was the same guy too there hunting for maximas aint they. sorry for your lose.

 

Meccanoble, sorry about your Max. I live in your area and also have had my Max stolen and found in Newark. That was back in January of this year. It was stolen for a joy ride and not stripped.

You can figure the ignition was broken and at least one window was broken. If that's it then your're lucky. Mine had that plus interior parts scratched, an additional window broken and rear bumper "bruises" which required it to be repainted.

Be prepared for a headache when you get your car out. My car was stolen on a Saturday night and found Sunday morning. I went to the Newark Police on Sunday morning to get it back. They said I had to come back on Monday. They wouldn't tell me what damage was done. However, they did tell me where it was impounded. I went to the yard and the person there wouldn't let me see my Max but I was able to read what the tow truck driver wrote about the damage. That was somewhat helpful to me.

I think there are two towing companies Newark uses. One is Dente Brothers, phone: 973 344 3100 or 973 465 1062. They were nice people to deal with and they also didn't go through my car and steal any items like the tools I had in my trunk. Alot of impounds do that.

When you go to Newark Police on Monday, be ready for a line. Monday morning is probably the busiest time there and I waited in line for about an hour. I doubt they will have the police ready, so if you want that don't bother waiting in that line. You can get it later.

My advice is and you probably already know it is get your Max out of the impound as soon as possible if it's fixable. I wouldn't trust the impound to watch over it.

As for your racial comments. Yes I can understand your anger because I had anger too. However I am white and have come across many white people who I consider to be the worst garbage on this earth. One of which is a current coworker of mine. My point is, some people in this world, regardless of color, and I'll put this nicely, SUCK !

I zip tied mine to the E-Brake handle underneath the boot. Theres a hole in it that i could run a zip tie through right after the plastic ends. I'll post pics if you need it. I love it there; just slip my hand over it while I let the brake down.

dam guys, my beautiful stereo is gone....it could have been worst...no injuries to the body, the wheels are still there, no flats or whatever but my whole middle console is ripped apart along with my ignition spot....i can get the parts from a junkyard but labor is going to kill me....

DOES ANYBODY IN NJ know how to fix that middle console, air conditioner and all? what should i do? i rather NOT go to Nissan cause i know they gonna charge me like hell but who else to go to????

you should check out some junkyards for the panels and such. did you happen to have an unbreakable autolock on when they stole the car?

 

My first question is do you have fire and theft insurance? If you do then it dosen't matter who fixes it. You just pay the deductable and with N.J. No Fault Insurance your rates will not go up.

If you don't have theft insurance forget about going to a dealer. I know a shop in Union County, where I got my Max fixed, that you can use. I was happy with their work. Email me if you want the name.

If they didn't break any windows and your car was locked than they must have stuck a screwdriver in the door and jimmied the lock. Check for damage there.

 

i had a stock lock...don't know if it was unbreakable and what not, and i only have liability...kmax, i emailed u about that place....i already have a car i'm getting trans and other parts for conversion...might as well take middle console also...see what they'll sell it for....my parts may still work though? i don't know if i should go for all new or keep mine...what are the chances that mine are damaged....?

i had no amp, no sub, just a stereo, i told myself not to get anything that can be stolen until i got a near perfect alarm...luckily i stood by my word but that was a 600 dollar stereo (obviously i didn't pay that much)

If you are thinking about getting an alarm..go with the new DEI alarm with the mini 2-way pager..It's gonna be a top notch alarm..It comes out in a couple months or something maybe less..But if you want a good alarm go with that..sorry to hear about your rig..You still got those 18's that u have in ur sig pic?

What type of alarm did you have? I was considering getting the paging alram but decied to go with the Clifford Arrow series. I was told by many that it's the bestalram on the market. Got a deal at Prestige Audio in New Orleans for $350. The other local shops charged $550 and up. The alram even has motion senors for wheels and tires. That's an option, but I'm definetly getting that next.

ok, here is the deal on my car, its home now chillin in my back yard...the things they did to my car they more than likely will do to any other car....

Broke my passanger window to get in car - damage ($100 for window + 30 dor tint roughly)

Broke ignition piece - damage ($96.00 for ignition assembly from tustin nissan + about 50 dollars for install)

stole stereo - damage ($320 bucks for same one again but not rushing that)

destroyed center console - damage (fixed everything except area where stereo is and i'll be taking parts off of donor maxima for conversion)

all in all, i'll be spending roughly 400 to 500 dollars on all parts minus stereo...sucks like hell but it could have been worst...there's also a scratch on back right side of car, not too noticeable but definitely wasn't there before....

oh well, i feel much better, thanks all for your support in this very tragic event...my next mod will be a strong security alarm

When I was in the market for buying an alarm system over the stock alarm, a friend told me about the pager alarm. However, I wasn't sure how good they were since none of the car audio stores inlcuding Best Buy and Circuit City sold them. I took it on soe shop named Prestige Audio and asked the gut what the best alarm was. He said the CLifford alarms that use G4 technology. It's even possible to track down your car via satelite. They have so many options on this thing that it's ridiculus. It also has a wireless reciever that disbales the car and can't be disabled no matter how professional the theif is. In other words, they can't cut any wires to disble the alarm. It even has sensors that set off the alram if someone lifts your car or messes with the wheels/tires. I'm definitely going to add more options when I get more funds. Does anyone else have a suggestion about alarms?

Ive heard of that alarm. Its all hooked up to the internet so that lets say you lost your keys, you call a number and they can open your doors or turn off your alarm for you. It has some sophisticated tracking capabilities as well but you dont need all of that.

Here is what I got
a delta alarm with remote start, ignition kill and pager for $400
a multi lock (Best invention for the car since the club) 200 the club 30

total cost 630 and thieves would just bypass your car. when they look in and see that Multi Lock locking your gear in place. And the club locking your steering wheel they just wont want to risk the added 4 hour time not to mention as soon as they touch my window or open mydoor im going to get a page in 5 seconds telling me my door is open or my glass is broken.

You can't beat that, if you want my hook up then let me know.

 

I paid $350 for my Clifford G4 Arrow 3 alarm; that price includes installation. That was the base alarm that comes with remote entry, shock sensor, kill switch, window sensor, passive alarm, light flash, and so on. The list goes on but I forgot where I placed the sheet with all the features. Plus you can add more and more features in the future. The pager alarms are nice that they tell you what's happening, but what's the point? Are you going to run out to meet the theif with a bat only to discover that he has a gun? The top of the line Clifford system like the Solaris that has remote start and the AvauntGaurd that has just about everything are listed on the brochure for $3000. The AvauntGaurd has BlacJax, like LoJack. Yeah, I just found the booklet. The options on this thing are insane! You can check out www.clifford.com. This alarm has also won a lot of awards too.
