- Hey, Jeff is right about the Y-pipe. But be sure to check out the "Maxfaq's" link. It's on the homepage just below "Forums." Very good stuff there. So, as the Maximaniacs say, "FAQ you!"
- FYI, the way your exhaust runs is from the headers (2 of them - one for each bank of the "V"), then to the Y-Pipe that joins the two into one and acts as a pre-cat, then on to the catalytic converter, then through the B-Pipe, and finally the muffler.
- Aftermarket Y-Pipes do not contain catalytic material (the pre-cat in the stock Y-pipe heats up quicker on cold starts to reduce emissions), so they're technically only for racing. There's a disclaimer on the aftermarket's, but no enforcement. If you live in a state with emissions testing, make sure the engine is warmed up before you go test (the regular cat will be up to normal by then).
- Also, the B-pipe and the muffler, together, is a cat-back exhaust.
- Go check out the FAQ's. Hey, Jeff! What rims do you have? They look pretty sweet. (Price, size, and weight would be appreciated). Thanks!

No that's not me sorry. I'm all the way up here in Seattle. But if it's Justin G. your talking about, then he has a brother named Bart that is the original guy running mustang gt/cobra rims on a maxima. Here is a pic of his ride.
I give props to him beucase he was very open about answering some questions when I was inquiring(about 1 year ago)

Re: Oops!
Hey Sleeper, what's up. My rims are MAS MGR 17's. They are made in Italy, I got them for $1200 with Falken GRB's. Try Discount Tire or ask a local shop, that's what I did. I'm not sure on the weight, but since they are only 5 spoke, it's prob not too heavy. Hope this helps, BTW I love them and recommend them to anyone who is interested.

- Are those Mustang rims? (Isn't that sacrilege?) ;-)
