question on installing springs

I just got the progress springs from custom maxima (1.7 front 1.5 rear) and i was just wondering what the best way to install them was. Is installation easy if you have someone who knows what they're doing, or is it just better to have someone else do it and if so how much does that normally run.

Thanx for any help

I installed mine myself and I didn't really know what I was doing. The cheapest quote I got to have it installed was about $300.

If you have a spring compressor, and lots of patience and time, you can do it yourself. It took me about 6 hours working by myself, using my mechanic's air tools (he let me use them for free).

If you don't have air tools, make sure you got a full socket set, and a breaker bar, the bottom strut bolts on the front are a b!tch to take off. Oh yeah and don't forget to wrap the springs in wire wrap.
