True, carsound cat's are good also, less expensive too. Give warpspeedperformance.com a call. I have a RT Cat though.

Buy the...

Warpspeed one.

I have the RTCat. Wow nice!Cool sticker!Wow so nice looking!

3 weeks later: Wow the sticker burned off. Wow its under the car and nobody can see it. Wow when I do see it, it's kinda brownish/burnt/grayish. Wow...I should have saved money and bought the warpspeed cat+Ypipe.

IF have a YPIPE, the Highflo Cat will help "slightly" with any DRONE.

Changing the cat alone, and nothing else, you are probably looking at 2-5hp. Going between highflow cats, you will be lucky to see 1-2hp. I have friends that have run multiple cats. At first, all swore by Random Tech. Because they all had quick connects on their cats, some switched over between RT and CarSound cats and went to the dyno. Big surprise, the error rate between two runs on the same cat made more of a difference then the cats.

It's not that it isn't worth the money. I mean, 1hp is 1hp. It all depends on whether someone is willing to pay the money for the small gain. Some are, some aren't.

The flywheel taking time off the 1/4? If you mean a lightened flywheel reducing it, of course.

Try a search. Lightened flywheels have been discussed at length on this org.

My muffler shop expert told me that you are really just paying for the name. He's familiar with the Carsound, RT, and Catco brands and told me that they are all about the same. One further, he said that Catco makes the cats for a performance sub-brand that charges twice as much. It's the same product. I have an RT BTW
