Got New Tires...Got a new question (problem)

A tire not sure which one on the drivers side makes a squeeking sound at slow speeds, as I go faster it disappears. I just got them installed today and speed balanced. Anyone know what could be the problem. Thanks, David.

Squeaky tires? You sure its not your brakes?

I was thinking that since the only time I heard it was in the city and it stopped once I got on the highway. Anyway, if it is breaks how could I make the sound go away. WD-40? What needs to be done.

anyone got any other ideas, after reading the other threads I think it could be the break pads? Any suggestions.

Please dont put WD-40 on your brakes!!!!

If you had the noise right after you got the tires installed, I would check the tightness of the lug nuts first........

If it sounds like metal on metal, it could be that the metal shield was hit when the tires were put on, and are hitting the rotors. This happened to me. Just wore the rotors down a little, and went away after a day.
