I'm curious to know how many people have no noise issues after replacing struts/springs versus the number of people who have had noise issues. I have read numerous posts of noise issues but I myself have had no problems at all.

Please forgive me if this has been done already. I tried the search and came up with only about a million of the suspension noise threads.

 

From what i hear and from my own experience a large majority have post noise issues.
But the suspension needs to settle and the noises dissapear after a month or so

 

For some people (like myself) the noises don't go away I think my noise comes from my KYB front mounts (as do exhip95's). I get a "pop"/"crunch" sound from both of my front springs when I turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. My springs are even wrapped.

Not for me. I get the occasional thunk from the right rear corner when I turn right onto an upramp. Probably because the corner tire is off the ground.

 

Ravq you been here long enough to know mostly everyone that has modified suspension gets noises, and that includes the expensive cattman coilovers as well. I get a thunk from from the rear I have intrax and Konis and my rears are not cut just the front.

 

I get strange coil clunking noises from my H&Rs
While driving I never hear them, just when backing out of the driveay etc.

Right after my springs were installed I had the grinding noise when you turn the wheel.Solution: wrapped the springs with isolator rubber. Now I'm getting some noise from the passenger side rear corner when I pull out from a parked space.

 

...seems to me that I am the only one with "NO" on the vote. I installed the AGX with Maxspeed and I could not hear any noise, even right after the installation.

No "squeeks", "thumping", etc.....

 

You're right JAY25 I have been around awhile but I'm still curious to know why so many people are getting suspension noise while I'm not. I'm not exagerrating (sp?). I don't get a clunk at all.
