Heh...well, I think I found the reason why water drips out of my tail housing every time I wash my car...

I'm completely missing a piece of weather stripping in the trunk, the one that runs all the way around the outermost part of the trunk lid. I can see a little bit of adhesive from the original piece still left behind.

I went to a few auto parts stores and they didn't know what to tell me as far as where I can look. Am I gonna have to go junkyard, or can you buy a generic pliable roll/piece of thick weatherstripping material that has adhesive on one side anywhere?

I'm sure the dealership would love to help me out , but I'd try the junkyard first if that's what it comes down to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

JC Whitney or Courtesy Nissan. You might be surprised, the dealer may not be that bad; especially with the Maxima.org discount.
