I have a 96 Max with 57,000 miles i bought used from a Nissan dealer about a year and a half ago when it had 42,00 miles on it.

I purchased the extended warranty that covers pretty much everything up to 80,000 miles.

Im thinking about purchasing a front and rear strut tower brace and Im wondering if those modifications will void my warranty.

I have a pretty bad *** stereo system and that involved some modification to the stock electrical system but i havent had any problems getting warranty service as of yet (I had brake pads replaced and a new starter put in).

Since the strut braces deal a little more exclusively with the car's performance, Id just thought id check to see if anyone knew the possible consequences of putting them in as far as warranty goes.

thanks

I never heard of a violation of warranty by putting in strut tower bars... the exhaust and intake is what really give problems.

Alot of it depends on the dealer.
Ask others that use that dealer for warranty work.
They may be able to tell you of their experiences with mods at that specific dealer.
