I have a 96 auto Le and i want a manual... Is it worth buying a 98 se max manual or would you suggest me to just keep my 96 w/ 130k miles? thanks

Re: automatic or manual

I think that 96 LE are faster then 98 I would keep it and modded unless you know how to drive a stick and really like to drive a stick shift then go with the manual.

getting a 98' 5speed will is gonna be a pretty penny. i say just keep the 96' and mod the hell out of it 136k miles is nothing on a maxima engine, if you take good car of it you still have like another 200k or more left

The VQ has been one of the ten best in the world for years. It will last for hundreds of thousands of miles IF you maintain it properly. Especially when modded.

It's all listed in the owners manual...

...get a Hayne's manual and do the work yourself. That is the only way you'll know it was done right.

My 95 GXE has over 150000 very hard miles and is still going strong.
