did u try cleaning the throttle body and changing the fuel filter? .....and if your car drops from 0-6,500, youve got some serious issues.....i hope you mean 650.....well if its when your slowing down, and your car drops down below 500 and jumps back up, definately TB cleaning

Nooo just the needle itself jumps around from what I can hear my idle sounds normal, so bascially the gauge is going up and down and not showing what my actual RPM is and only happens when im driving not in neutrul/idle.

Seems like your guage cluster is messed up if your car drives normally. A few have reported this recently and say that swapping out the guage cluster for a used one from a salvage yard cured their tack yips.
