Does anyone own a red maxima. I have never seen one on this board. Yet, I've seen about 3 of them in my town. What's up with that? And I'm not talking about maroon, I mean flat out red.

 

The red was offered as a special color for the 99 SE-L model. That was it, no more after that I think some 3rd gens were made in red as well.

 

I've seen one red max in Boston. I think only SE-L comes in red, not just an SE.

 

ME ME ME I have a RED 99 Maxima SE Limited.. Very Red.

Hi There! I have a RED Maxima..I have had it since February of 1999..I think its great..At first i didnt see any of them around...but now im seeing a few around...It gets a lot of attention and i wouldnt trade the color for anything!!

they made the red color from 1990-1994 and they didnt make it again til 1999 but only for the SE-L.

Also i have 37,000 miles on it...I love this car

 

The only one I've ever seen was in Ohio. I think it was truly LIMITED production.

 

I dont have a RED Maxima, but I really like the red on that car. The whole car really stands out, and looks sharp

 

The L is the limited eiditon 1999 with pearl black emblems, and special color. The R is for Rage, and that is why it is Red. The Rage has a few different internals that makes it faster, around 210+ hp to it. I saw one here too.

 

Actually, SE-L's were made in a couple of different colors, and red is one of those colors. There's no such thing as an SE-R Maxima, at least not in the US. How do you know it's got 210 hp? Sure someone just didn't slap a badge on it?

It's called bs. But Courtesy-Nissan had called their Red one the Rage, and it has some mods to get more hp. I was not concerning other dealers. I wish I can buy mines from Texas and shipped to New England.

 

ok first off, its not an SE-R...no such thing for a MAXIMA...second it has 190 HP like ALL the other Maximas...third of all they made the SE-L in many colors...the red is just an extra special color...and besides i heard they only made red to get rid of extra infiniti paint...anyway i want to put a pic of my 99 SE-L on here but i have yet to figure it out...im working on it
