Rattle in gauge cluster

I did some searching, and because the 4th gen has so many rattles, everyone seems to be addressing an entire host of rattle problems other than mine.

For me, it sounds like something RIGHT in front of me, like in the dash, is loose. It doesn't sound very light like a single bolt, but more like the actual gauge cluster.

Is this a common problem? Is there a known fix?

Those that have done dash removal

Have you noticed any parts of the gauge cluster that could easily be loose?

The main rattle that I have been noticing right in front of me is the darn center vent. That thing rattles over every single little bump and it is SO irritating. But, I found a way to fix that. After having looked at a buddies 2000 Dodge Ram Sport, every mounting location that the dash attaches to other parts of the dash is a felt-type material. He has 0 rattles in his dash. So the other day when I was at Michael's (Linen & Things type store) they had a stick on felt material. I went to buy it, but no luck when you don't have the money with you at the time. I will let you know how it goes.....
