has anyone with a 99 se bought a fstb from an ebay seller called racesonic, because he sold me one that was suppose to fit 95-99 max's, but the one side has alittle peice in the way so i can't bolt it down, just curious

if its what i think your talking about i believe those are the 240sx sturt bars. if the piece is at like a 45 degree angle then that is the 240sx strut bar. i have gone to several shops locally and they all try selling me that one for some reason

hmmm, well it fit perfectly except for this one damn peice in the way, the right side fit fine, but then on the driver side there was a little metal peice that is only on the 99s, it's not on the 97's though

I think the 99s may have to buy a FSTB made for the 5th gen Maxima. Nissan started getting ready for the 5th Gen with the 99 model. It could be an honest mistake on the sellers part since the 99 should be the same as the rest of the fourth gens. I think you can cut it to make it fit or something, do a search or ask in the general or 5th gen forums.
