I have the regular clear lenses from Courtesy Nissan that I got over a year ago...what is the difference like between those and the diamond cut? Is it worth the $50 or whatever to get the DC?

Re: Whew clears rock me!

I just put on my Diamond Cut Clears two days ago, and yeah does it ever make a differance.

At the same time I removed my hood deflector and painted my front emblem black, looks great I can't wait until I get enough money for a new mod.

lock em?

Im not sure what you mean by locking them, i didn't see much to lock them in with...basically i just popped out the corner and unscrewed the big piece took that out, to the dc big piece twisted the bulb into its hole screwed it and then poped the side in and reach up under and putt the bulb in it socket..where do you lock them? I drove around for awhile they didn't pop out, although I would like to get em so there is no chance of em fallin out. Please explain. The instruction were pretty straight forward, but i don't remeber seeing a Hex bolt to take off and lock it into place. Thanks

aight this is what u do. take out tha corner (not the blinker). now u see where the ball and socket connection is, u want to unscrew the ball part of the corner with the 8mm hex wrench. now go to ur local hardware store and find a screw thats 12-24*1/2" round head slotted and a washer thats 5/16"(i used the locking washer). From underneath the fender of the car, remove the 2 screws keeping the black fender wall attached to the car frame.Pry open enough space, to get your hand in there, along with a short flat head screw driver. now u can fit ur hands up there to get right behind the clear lense. now where u had the socket and the ball, put the washer and the screw through where the socket used to be. now put the lense in and screw in the lense. it should go screw washer car and lense. now the only way they can be taken out is from behind the lense...if u have any questions holla.. some taken from www.maximadriver.com.....

hmmm

ok so what you are saying is take that "plug" thing off and put the light in and then from the back screw the screw into the light? or do i put a bolt in there push it thru the little hole and then take a nut and screw it on to the other side? I think I understand, but I will have to look again, another thing is why weren't the factory ambers locked in? hehe anyway thanks i will check it out tommorrow and see whats happenin ... bwt this is "ALZARE" realized i was posting with the wrong name heh

another way they can be taken out is by a ****ed off theif if they forcibly rip them out, and since theyre tied down to your car, it will break something where the screw was holding it in. just something to think about.
