Just to clarify, the name of this item is technically the GXE dash kit. It has nothing to do with Bose. In fact, if you have Bose, this item does not fit.

If you scroll down and READ you'll see... Nissan factory OEM replacement part for center console Some customers when replacing their BOSE system will use this assembly to install with their aftermarkethead unit...
And if YOU go on to READ the applications chart It includes 2000-2003...
but thanks for the lack there of INPUT... Bad enuff its hard enuff to sell here you gotta go and make it harder...

Correct, what I'm trying to say is that this item does NOT fit if you are using a BOSE headunit. I'm speaking only about head units. Speakers/amp do not apply because this is a dash kit.

Maybe you should check YOURSELF before you try acting like you know your ****, noob. I'm just trying to clarify something that may be mistaken when someone is looking to purchase your unit.

Au contraire, I was trying to help your thread. You're the one that started with the attitude.

Oh, and also...

actually djfrestyl is a well respected member in the audio section on these forums, Jay 5.

He was just trying to help another max enthusiast realize what they were actually getting. There was NO negativity in his post at all, and it would not have scared away any potential buyers. take a pill.

Thanks mendon...

My information was/is not false.

I'm done with this thread.

Good luck with your sale.

And, for what it's worth, your own attitude trashed this thread.

I like your sig jay5.

MECP CERYIFIED huh? I think you mean cerTified, but what a joke that is apparently. Why? Because both djfrestyl and mendon are correct, especially on the fact that your attitude trashed the thread, and you just lost a sale because of it. I actually am in need of one of these kits and came into this forum specifically looking for one, but I'd much rather pay the extra couple bucks than deal with you.

I'll buy it for $15 because I have a stock Bose system and I know it won't fit. Also, in light of the inspirational rapping going on in here...I have one myself: Check to see if your Bose radio fits, because this dash kit might end up on the fritz.

No cutting is a given, since this is an OEM part and is supposed to accommodate an OEM HU.

pwned

just put in a d3 as well. perfect fit minus the fact you need a little trim piece to black the small hole it leaves.

So how is this vent assembly any different from the stock one in my 2002 SE w/ Bose, w/o navigation??

I have a single DIN Pioneer that needs installed and people are saying this works but how is it different from what I already have??
Shouldn't I just need to buy the pocket???

I guess a pic of the item you're selling would be helpful...?

The dash kit in built onto the bose radio. So when you remove the Bose radio you will have no trim around the radio. The seller had a pic uploaded but I guess the link is broken.
