My original set of S-techs were paired with Illuminas. This is my second set that I haven't had a chance to put on my car. I'm running Progress currently. I'm selling these and the Progress once they are off the car and getting Tein SS's with the EDFC.

They would, but I wouldn't be able to guarantee how long your struts would last.

Not for long. You will blow all of them with such an aggressive drop as S-Techs.

Surprisingly the amount of drop will still allow you to be in specs. Of course you would need an alignment to do this, anytime you remove and reinstall springs and shocks.

Ya, it's why it usually not recommended for those considering these. I have however had Progress on my stockers currently for over 20k miles with no issues as of yet. :fingerscrossed:

Hey Man-

Yes, still available, miles unknown but springs don't ever go bad unless in some sort of hard collision or something. Please do, I need to move these and move on.

I really like the Teins, but now that I saw they didn't come with pillow mounts or adjustable cambers I might veer somewhere else. I'm gonna check out the Megans. What do they run?

Any reviews on these yet?

price on the megan coilovers...ebay has them as low as $820+ shipping. a friend of mine who had all D2s, KSports and Megans said of all three the Megans beat them all in the ride of comfort. thats teh only 'review' i have...i mean..they look pretty *ninja*

my clutch and/or slave cylinder just went out so depends on how much it runs me to repair this BS on how it affects me getting my coilovers, cuz i was planning on getting them around mid june

I'm in the same boat. Clutch, Flywheel, and motor mounts need to be replaced soon.....upgrading now of course.

I want to know if there are any issues with these in terms of noise or anything of the like. I'll have to look around also and see myself.

talk to LeX on here..his AIM is "Ahut2000". he's getting ready for an exam, but when he gets back talk to him about it. but he's the one i talked to about the coilovers and he helped me w/ my decision. but i know the Tein Super Sports are the only coilovers available for the A33s adn the Tein Flex are the ones that suppose to have the pillow mounts..so..i was also notified that all of Tein was going up on prices effective May 1st..so you may want to take that into account too.

i need to replace my rear main oil seal and i'm thinking instead of doing the stage 1 since i'm not planning on doing any major engine upgrades (just y-pipe and megan cat back and SRI), ill just do the exedy oem replacement clutch and do a fidanza lightweight flywheel.

I'll get up with him and see what he says. Thanks. I'm in the air for options on my clutch package right now. Still looking for what will fit my needs in the future. I will be doing heavy mods and would like to prepare for that.

I think 400+ is atainable with the blower and a small shot. Currently will be spraying 125 shot, but i want something that's always on, so I hope the 3.5 chain cover will be done soon.

seems like u may want to go stage 2. stage 1 should hold u, but it wouldnt hurt for a stage 2.

i was quoted $270 shipped for a competition clutch stage 1 for my 00...the guy i contacted was on importatlanta.com

I was going to use a SPEC Stage 2+ and a SPEC l/w Flywheel again. I really liked it on my Legend Coupe 6-speed. I don't care about drivability, I can master a chatter and a stiffer pedal feel would actually be ideal for me too.

At the moment, it's all going to cost quite a bit so I might have to pick up a 350z clutch/Fidanza flywheel in the meantime. When i'm ready for boost then i'll look at the upgrade when this setup blows out. I still have a ways to go NA anyways.
