I thought it was O2 sensors that were giving me bad mileage, but even after changing them i still have problem. (there was no Check engine light or codes to change O2 sensors). Now the next guess for issue is cylinder misfire and hence gas being staying in and being pushed out the exhaust (as a member of org has suggested to me)

So, i have 2 upstream O2 sensors, no codes when they were taken out of the car @ 60K miles. If anyone is interested, please PM with an offer. Thanks

Sorry. They are from 02-03 maxima. They are both blue tones, one that goes behind the engine cover, and second that is right behind radiator region.
