YEA HARNESS IS DIFF..I'VE HEARD OF ONE OWNER SAYING THE HARNESS ISNT NEEDED PERSAY, BUT ITS HELPFUL..BUT I HAVE 00 MAX SO W/ THE TAILS I WANT I DONT NEED THE HARNESS

 

the 00-01 lights use different bulbs, so you cannot use the 02-03 harness. You must use the original harness which a lot of people on ebay won't sell you.
