its possible but quite a bit of work since you'll have to bypass each individual amp at the speaker, unless you have something else in mind. I would suggest looking at the wiring schematic of the 97 max and the 00-01 max and go from there. Its possible if you have the know how to mess with electronics a bit.

it will not be a direct plug-n-play...but....if you have some knowledge in electronics, it is not that difficult to install as long as you have the schematics to follow. Personally, I would have no problem putting it in into another car but I just don't see the reason for it as you can easily set up an aftermarket amp and sub and have more control over specs and sound. This would be acheaper alternative though, I guess.

Define non-Bose. If you mean factory Nissan non-Bose, I really can't answer, but if you mean non factory/aftermarket headdeck with RCA outputs, then yes it's a very easy install. You will need to buy an adapter (to convert from RCA to line-level) and find the factory clip that goes into the amp. I actually have done this in an '02 Max that the wife was driving for a while, before it was totalled. Before the insurance company came to get the car, I pulled out everything, and am hoping to transplant it over to our '97 Altima.

the sub is still available.

I wouldn't run two sub woofers from one OEM amp, the amp is only rated for one sub, you'll need to add an aftermarket amp to run two subs or add another oem one.

In the event the guy above does not take this, I need exactly what he asked for... The sub, and the wiring harness with about two inches of wire from the amp and the sub. PM me, I am serious about purchasing. Wiring in Bose setup and these are the last two pieces I need (yes I know that is ridiculous, but I liked the Bose in my 89 and this was WAAAY cheaper than aftermarket)
