Trans is currently in the car, if you are local you can come drive it before I pull it.

H code on the firewall VIN tag and metal pedals.

$1000 OBO for the complete swap.

Located in Eugene OR.

I can put this on a pallet no problem. I'd ship through either Yellow Freight or Oak Harbor Freight.

Can anyone tell me if this is a direct swap into an '01 w/5spd? My diff bearing just went out on my '01 and is currently sitting at a shop. They've been hunting for another tranny. If this is a direct swap, I may be interested. Any known problems with the 6 spd?

No it isn't a direct bolt on. SEARCH. It really isn't that hard to find a 5MT for your car.

Thanks for the reply. The "Stealership" it's parked at, tells me they've only been able to locate 2, a used one for $1300 and a "new" one for $2100, but they didn't tell what "new" means, I'm assuming remaned. I think they're only trying local yards. I've been getting jerked off by them for 3 weeks and 3 days so far. I thought if it was direct swap, I would pony up the doe and let the extended warranty company reimburse me.

$2100 is probably brand new. Call DaveB. He is the .org Nissan parts guy. I'm sure he can beat that price. I know of people getting 06 6MT transmissions for $1800 bucks new from him. He is a great guy and takes care of the .org family.... Look him up and give him a call tomorrow. Just make sure you tell him you are from Maxima.org

If you end up parting stuff out or if the tranny didn't include the shifter, please keep me in mind.

I'd like a price on the shifter itself shipped to 08053.
