I understand that this is a long-shot but I am looking for a set of headers for my 5.5 gen. It can be anything made for years 95-03 (obx, cattman, hotshot). I would really like to find a set of obx v2, but beggars cant be choosers. Im looking for anything besides the ebay shorties. This is a last stitch effort to find equal-length headers, before I give in and buy unequal 3.0 headers. Anyone out there? I will pay for shipping, or meet local (ny area). Paypal ready

 

custom maxima has a set on sale for 160 marked down from like 3something
worth checkin out if you dont get any response.thats the route ill prob go.

 

Do yourself the favor and stay away from those. I have a buddy who just installed them on his car, and he told me he had to have an exhaust shop cut them up, and reweld them just to fit. On top of that he said the performance gain was minimal. Honestly if I dont find anything here I will buy the obx 3.0 headers and put them on my 3.5

 

thanks for a heads up...i havnt done extensive exhaust research, i had my car up on jacks the other day and noticed how rusted mine was so i started poking around.
i work for monroe muffler so they could help me make it fit.
but if the gains arnt there its not worth it at all.

stay away from ebay for the exhaust parts. i bought a catback system i had to have my friend custom cut n weld cause they sent me one of the wrong parts, once a lil mod was done it worked out perfect. but if u dont have a friend who can weld good stay away from ebay.

all other things i bought on ebay for the car have been fine.

yeaaa man im right there with you on the search.. headers should NOT be this expensive IMO. The headers on custommaxima are 180 and they INCLUDE a Y-pipe..seems like a good deal to me besides the bad feedback the org flags them with.. and i called them and the headers are actually only for the 3.0 but he said people have put them on a 5.5 with minor fitment issues(would like for someone to elaborate on this for me!!!)...
