Rear D2 Coilovers - Cheap!

What's up, I took my rear D2 RS dampers off today. They come with OEM mounts. I'll get pictures tomorrow.

Good: NOT blown. You can ride em for a long time. If they do blow, strut cores are $120 each from D2.

Bad: The height adjustment collars are seized, which happens with aluminum lower mounts. A propane torch and a hammer should get em loosened up.

I want $175 SHIPPED for these, OR BEST OFFER! Low ball, reasonable offers etc I'll consider what you got. Also I'll take trades just LMK what you have. I take paypal.

Couple more pictures. I apologize for the low quality, I'm using my blackberry as a camera

High heat and gas shocks dont mix man, i dont know who gave you the great idea to put a blow torch to a shock but thats a bad thing waiting to happen.

I would advise some PB blaster and keep working at it to loosen it up. If not just leave them at the ride height they are now and deal with it..

I've read ~150 degrees is enough to undo the warping on the aluminum that happens with temp change.

Either way, they're for sale, cores from D2 are $120/pop and I'm asking $175 OBO for this set.

Don't risk torching it. Cef you can just get a long thick flat head and hit at it with a hammer for a little. Go wd40 crazy, I did that and about 100 hits later it broke loose. They were installed though so they wouldn't spin freely and become a pain.

Glws.

I have a dual tip Vibrant 3" muffler, and a pace setter type CAI that i ran on my 4th gen.

I also have the KN filter for it laying around somewhere...

I also have a spare DEK block with a bent valve that i can take parts off (sensors and stuff that i have left).

Have you really even tried to get the perches loose? A chissle and hammer would probably do the job with the help of some PB blaster like i said...Im curious to know the extent of the trouble to get em loose lol...

Let me know if you need anything that your willing to trade, i may have some stuff...

Any idea on the mileage?

Bump, lowering price to $150 shipped anywhere. The spring perches are loose, I think the lower collar and lower mount are stuck. I'm pretty sure someone will be able to get them loose, I just got a different set so I didn't bother too much with em.

I'd be interested in trading for an H4 or H3 HID kit and/or 3" MAF housing.

Not sure on the mileage, it's rather high but they ride smooth and don't leak.

$150 shipped! Someone take em!
