FS 5.5Gen Charcoal box/canister
FS 5.5Gen Charcoal box/canister
I have used charcoal canister from a 2003 maxima. Used but in great condition NO CRACKS. I had codes and decided to change the whole thing but when I went to remove it noticed only the valve was broken.

The problem with the EVAP canister/ vent solenoid is that when you try to separate the valve from the canister, the two securing bolts are always stripped/rusted so the box essentially breaks. Nismomax98 will need to try to separate them ahead of time and see how it goes and sell the item with an updated condition. Unfortunately "No Cracks" is only a temporary description.
Right now its a $50 gamble with a 5% chance of paying out.
Its a very easy fix to replace both 30 minutes even for newbs. Just will cost you about $300 if you buy the parts online. I suggesting replacing the gas cap if you have a p0455 code even if the rubber gasket on the cap looks good
Search EVAP canister in the 5th gen section, theres lots of commentary in there on the process/problem.
