Nope there's none of that! These bad boys are in great condition, I'd rate them all 9/10 except the driver seat more like an 8/10(little more wrinkling and such from being used most) but there are not cracks tears burns or stains of any sort!

Been searching up on the forum for corresponding wires/diagram to swap these over to my non-heated 00-01 cloth. Can't find much-- any help, as I'm interested in buying as soon as I can figure this little dilemma out.

As far as I have figured out, yellow should be power, and black should be ground. Beyond that I'm not sure if you need to hook up anything else for the general functioning of the seat. For heat I believe you'll need only two wires to go to the switch, one for high and one for low. The switch has 4 wires each, I'm assuming - ignition, high, low, ground. Anyone else wish to chime in? I want these gone.

Also I have 4 i35 door panels for sale - would anyone be interested in them? I'll post up pics if there's interest - they are in great condition.

Is this the 02-03 wiring?

white/red +12V - tap this into the white/red from the original 2 wire harness
YELLOW/BLUE +12V - tap this into the white/red from the original 2 wire harness
BLACK GROUND - tap this into the black from the original 2 wire harness
BLACK GROUND - tap this into the black from the original 2 wire harness
Red/green Needed for the "automatic drive positioner". Supposed to get 12V when the key is in ignition.
light green DOOR SWITCH - WORKS WITH GROUND - also needed for "automatic drive positioner"

Here is the 00-01 wiring (thanks Dennismik). Can't seem to find the 02-03 though...

As I read the FSM for the 2000 Max, the connectors in the console for the switches are 4 wire connectors, square shaped.

Driver's seat switch:
Pin 1 - Green with red stripe - 12 volts from 10 amp fuse # 9
Pin 2 - gray - to seat heater element # 1
Pin 3 - gray with red stripe - to seat heater element # 2
Pin 4 - black wire - chassis ground.
only needed for indicator lights built into the switch.

Passenger seat switch:
Pin 1 - Green with red stripe - 12 volts from 10 amp fuse # 9
Pin 2 - gray with ??? stripe- to seat heater element # 1
Pin 3 - gray with black stripe - to seat heater element # 2
Pin 4 - black wire - chassis ground.
only needed for indicator lights built into the switch.

In low heat mode, only heater element 1 is used (pin 2).
In high heat mode, both heater elements are used (pins 2&3).

From what I have seen in the 03 fsm..

Yellow goes to power, black goes to ground.

For heated seats you just have to connect the wires to the switches(matching colors) and then run power and ground for the switches.

Thanks ewakefield, I'm assuming they just aren't plug and play-- so splice them to the same colors?

To the OP, are these memory seats?

I'm asking because it's actually much harder to install the MS and would be a better idea to ditch the module under the driver seat.

Where does 100 miles end up being in the direction of 01002?
