Halp! Need parts! (5.5er's)

Hey all,

Got in a little fender-bender with Bambi about an hour ago. Looks like I'll be needing some parts. ASAP preferably...

As it stands, it's looking like I'm going to need the following:

- Passenger headlamp housing
- Passenger side fender

I'm not going to ask for a hood, because I know the shipping is outrageous. I'll update this if I find anything else that's not repairable.

Thanks everyone.

-Brett

Yes, a CF hood would look nice...but it's beyond my budget ATM.

I've, luckily, got a spare hood laying around I can use for the time being. The problem is, that hood has to go back on another car at some point.

If you would, that'd be great.

Not too many yards around here stock any cars over 95/96.

That headlamp is toast. The whole housing is destroyed...not just the clear plastic cover.

You might have better luck finding the parts using car-part.com

I've been skimming over Car-Parts, Parts Bin, and eBay. I've found some. But I didn't think it'd hurt to ask here, either.

Oh, I gotcha. Well, that shouldn't be a problem. Just give me a few days to find myself a new headlamp.

Wow. Those definitely were not on eBay when I was looking around last night. Or I just glanced over them somehow. Good looking out.

I'd prefer it...but if the price is reasonable enough, I have no complaints about the color.

if you go to your local body shop you should be able to get a new hood and fender pretty cheap, when i bought mine it needed a whole front clip and i ordered a new hood for it and it was only 40 bucks.....but thats with e coat crap.....and last time i checked i think fenders were like 36 bucks.....but then again i get a employee discount on the parts

Bump.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the help. This is one of the reasons I love being part of the org.

Talked to my buddy who's been doing body work for a little over 15 years today. He told me that he can get the hood and fender looking good as new. So it looks like I won't be needing the fender after all.

However, I'm going to continue to look for a headlight, as obviously, no amount of bodywork will fix that.

I managed to salvage some parts off of the busted lamp, so I'll be posting up any spare parts I have for sale in this thread. I may end up having a few things left over after I get everything done.
