100$ to ship ? who do you ship with ? see with FedEx, they ship by weight, not by size. I've shipped a dash from my part out for 20$ inter-canada with FedEx and it's pretty big, but only weighs 16 lb. Greyhound buses can also be another cheap alternative.

Sorry man, unless you get an excellent perk with some account number, size DOES largely affect shipping charges of any carrier.
You would to if you could only fit but so many boxes in a truck.

I've had many large items sent out with FedEx since the beginning of my part out (I.E. door panels, dash, sideskirts) and was ALWAYS charged by weight, not by size.
